i am absolutely consumed with thoughts of you. i cannot wait to meet you. i can't wait to see what color your hair is. how long your fingers are. how cute your feet are. how soft and swirly your ears are. how squishy your bum is. what color your eyes are. if you have eyebrows (sissy didn't for a long time). what shape your nose is. whose chin you have. we already know you have daddy's cheeks!

i can't wait to learn how to feed you. to hear you cry. to watch you squirm. to figure out how to diaper you (i have never diapered a baby boy!).

i can't wait to watch you sleep. listen to you breathe. see if you have hiccups as much on the outside as you do on the inside. see if your legs always want to be up by your ears after 6 months of them being in that position.

i can't wait to find out if you like to sleep. or if you like to look around. or if you like to cry and command attention.

i can't wait to see your daddy hold you. your sissy hold you. all your aunties hold you.

i can't wait to bring you home and to be your devoted mommy for the next 70+ years...
