hiya, mr. man!

today, you and i had a bit of a lazy day. we were supposed to go to a playdate, but you ended up napping through the first 40 minutes of the playdate, and with drive time and needing to pick up sissy from school, we ended up just skipping it. you had a rough night last night thanks to those new teeth that are just breaking through...i wasn't going to wake you.

after you woke up, you and i spent some time on the floor...you playing and getting into stuff and me sorting through your clothes. i know a mom who's going to have twin boys this fall, so i'm preparing all your outgrown stuff to pass on to her. the funny thing is, you have outgrown a lot of stuff without ever wearing it. for the most part, you are full on into your 12m clothes. a lot of the 12m clothes we have for you are winter-ish b/c you were born in late fall. so, those got packed up. you were given a lot of 18m stuff that is summer-y, and i'm switching those into your "in"box. i am sure that some will be big on you, but since you are over 30 inches tall, i am sure many of them will fit you just fine.

i would love to start shopping for stuff for you for the fall and winter, but i seriously have no idea what size you will be. i know your growth is going to slow down quite a bit in this next 5 months of your first year, but even still, you will be well over 30 inches at 12m, so you will be somewhere between 18m and 2T in terms of clothing size. right now, you're kinda chubilicious, but i'm pretty sure that once you get mobile, you will be quite thin since you started out thin and are already backing off on milk consumption. oh! who the heck knows, buddy! maybe you'll just be nekid until it gets cold...
