Mellow Fellow

hiya, mr. man!

i am sorry it's been so long since i've written. it's been a big month for you. you are ON THE MOVE. you are now all over the house...you are army crawling like a pro. you do spend time on hands and knees, but you haven't tried to crawl in that fashion yet. you will pick up a hand to pound on the floor in front of you or you will hop with your knees and butt, but you don't get the front and back ends going at the same time. i am not sure if you will or if you will just go to pulling up from your tummy. you are trying hard to pull up, but you have not pulled it off yet :-) you also now sit perfectly. we can set you down and you will sit just fine until you are ready to get down and go explore something else. you get down very gracefully and it is this move that shows us you are more than ready to crawl on hands and knees...you just aren't into it yet!

you are one mellow fellow! we took a trip to boerne to see the fam, and you did awesome sleeping in your pack n play at the hotel. you thoroughly enjoyed the hotel pool and stealing food during the free breakfast. you did get a little tired of all the hither and thither and were happy to be home, but i am just amazed at how well you adjusted.

you now have 5.5 teeth. you seem a little bit agitated these last couple days and you keep shoving your fingers in your mouth, so i think more pearly whites are working. you are still sleeping SOOOOO much better than you had been, so i guess they aren't bothering you too much.

we are preparing to go to MD to see your nana. we also will get to see your baba while we're there. i am hoping that this trip will not tax you, and i'm thinking that since we won't be in and out of the car a whole bunch that it won't. you will get to swim in nana's pool, plunder her house (yikes!), and see/play with some other kiddos. it should be a lot of fun. best of all...it's not in the 100s in MD, so we should get to enjoy more time outside. you are definitely becoming an outdoor kinda guy. you will sit quietly yanking and eating grass and dirt for a good 20 minutes. you don't even mind that much when i spend a ton of time swiping dirt and grass out of your mouth ;-p

i love you, buddy!
